DAY 141-162
This, this I’ve been working on for about 3 weeks. I know it doesn’t seem like it’s that time consuming, but I’ve really painted this over many many times, and I had to spend time vectorizing it, and a lot of time shading. The PSD was 128MB, though I did work in AutoCAD’s Sketchbook Pro.
This all started as a pencil drawing my girlfriend made me, about a month ago. I’ll have more layer-by-layer progress up in the next few days.
DAY 140
Didn’t really work out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, I tried.
DAY 139
Still drawing. I want to try my hand at more cartoony stuff, inspired by Juice Foozle and the Omnitarian. Today I sketched it, in about 10 minutes, and then spent nearly an hour vectorizing it (in Inkscape no less). I will apply copics and shading later today or tomorrow. Close ups of the sketch and vector follow.

DAY 137
Here’s my attempt at drawing Robert Downey Jr. He doesn’t look angry enough, his forehead isn’t big enough and his eyes are a little bit odd. I tried :)
DAY 133
DAY 132
Here it is finished! I drew it by request for an awesome singing girl and you should check out her stuff. It took 3 days to do this, and I slightly messed up on the inking. The eyes are too dark because there’s supposed to be lens glare, but I simply cannot do that. Yet. I also ran out of ink near the end, so I had to switch. See if you can find it. Thank you to everyone for all the support that I got along the way!
DAY 130
Here is the rough start of my WALL•E drawing. I’m going to try to ink it and refine it tomorrow.
DAY 128
What’s sad is I started drawing this lion 6 hours ago, and kept getting distracted so I could never finish it. Now it’s midnight. I give up. For a friend :)
DAY 127
Voila! A hippo in love.
DAY 126
Look, a duck! Not bad, eh? I think it’s pretty good, though it was rushed.
